Light Emitting Shirts

Today i was surfing the web and came across some very cool light emitting shirts that are being developed by Philips. Yes you heard it right - light emitting shirts. I was amazed when i first came across this video. I didn't even think this would be possible in shirts but it is and Philips have proved it. There are some very eccentric flashing designs implemented in the shirts and some are actually quite cool. These shirts can carry dynamic advertisements, graphics and even constantly changing colour surfaces. This creates an almost magical lighting experience. This is done without compromising flexibility or softness of the cloth. These shirts feature flexible displays of light emitting diodes or leds fully integrated into the fabric.

Flatwire - No more breaking through walls

Today i will be talking about the revolutionary new wire technology Flatwire. This technology will eliminate the need to break through walls for wiring. This is a very simple and cost effective system. It is also virtually invisible. This technology uses the surface of walls unlike conventional wiring. This wiring is thinner than a business card and it is flexible enough to bend to any angle required. It has same or better performance than conventional wiring. It is also very easy to install and can be installed by the house owner and a professional is not necessarily needed. There are just four easy steps for installation. You map it, then stick it, click it and make it disappear. It is as simple as painting your room. It lets you design your products into your room just how you want it without the limitations of conventional wiring.

Oled TVS

This is a new type of TV technology that has just been recently showcased. It is the next step forward in television technology. OLED stands for organic light emitting diode. Thats right the TV's possessing this technology use LED's instead of traditional light technology found in CRT, Plasma and LCD tvs. This technology gives you a very lightweight and bright display. It gives you a thin display that costs less for manufacturers because it is not as complicated as lcd or plasma technology. The basic premise behind this technology is sandwiched special molecules between glass that light up when given a jolt of electricity. Even at 180 degrees there is no distortion in the picture. There is no distortion in the picture at any angle. There is no need for a back light in these TV's which gives them an advantage over Plasmas and LCD TV's. OLED displays can be see through, mirrors or even flexible. They are also extremely power efficient and colors are bold and great. I simply think this technology is great.
